Mono Festival: Dancing on my own
Dancing on my own is a video installation by Sara Lindström celebrating the simplicity and complexity of dancing. By inviting one person at a time to dance to their favourite song in front of the camera, the film gives form to a collection of physical and audible portraits exploring why music is so enjoyable.

Mono Festival of One-to-One Performance is Sweden's only festival dedicated to one-to-one performance. Mono was founded in Lund in 2016 and produces a festival featuring a selection of performances by local, national and international artists working with individual experience. In addition to the main festival, Mono also curates one-off talks, standalone performances and workshops. Mono aims to provide a unique platform within Scandinavia that allows a wider audience to experience multi-sensory, affective and powerful art that is accessible to a diverse audience on their own terms.
Between 18-20 October 2019, the third edition of Mono Festival will occur at Stenkrossen, Skissernas Museum and Lunds konsthall.
