Designed by architect Klas Anshelm and sculptor Arne Jones \u2013 and once gleaming with water and thick panes of glass \u2013 it has been left dry and dilapidated for most of its life. In\u00a0<em>The Fountain: A Biography<\/em>, artist\u00a0Maddie Leach\u00a0explores the LTH fountain\u2019s extraordinary history through archives, interviews and its long afterlife in student culture, weaving a tale of love, loathing, longing and collective imagination.\r\n\r\nThe book is written in English and\u00a0published by Null &amp; Void Books, Lund.\r\n\r\nIn the short film\u00a0<em>Strikeout<\/em>, Lars-Henrik St\u00e5hl poses the question of whether the LTH fountain could be considered a piece of \u2018Hyperart Thomasson\u2019 \u2013 an obscure Japanese conceptual art movement that records urban phenomena and architectural objects divorced from their original purpose.
