The houses are placed close to the floor, in nooks and crannies, and some can only be reached via stairs. Their locations have been chosen to reflect how the works were originally displayed in the urban environments they were created for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Anonymouse is moving into the museum!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2016, a mysterious miniature house appeared in a facade on Bergsgatan in Malm\u00f6. It looked like a bunch of mice had opened a restaurant \u2013 just below knee height for those who usually walked by. This small intervention in the streetscape, signed by the anonymous artist group Anonymouse, quickly attracted attention. First in Sweden and Europe \u2013 but soon all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the following nine years, more mouse houses appeared in unexpected places: a pharmacy in Lund, a pastry shop in Gustavsberg, a castle on the Isle of Man, and a radio studio in Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the spring of 2025, creators <strong>Elin Westerholm <\/strong>and <strong>Lupus Nens\u00e9n<\/strong> stepped out of anonymity and at the same time announced that the mice&#8217;s building adventures were over. <br><br>Now Skissernas Museum is celebrating nine years of mouse pranks and creativity. This summer, Anonymouse is moving into the museum\u2019s exhibition rooms with a selection of their miniature worlds from Malm\u00f6 and Lund, hidden here and there for you to discover.
