Skissernas Museum and SH|FT invite you to a talk and workshop with the curators of the ongoing exhibition Routes of Resistance. At 17:00–19:00 we create stations in the exhibition room where visitors are welcome to talk to the curators about the works they represent.

The exhibition Routes of Resistance wants to create an open place to discuss the concept of freedom in relation to creative practice. With around thirty works, the exhibition highlights how artistic strategies can withstand direct or indirect threats and examines the consequences of working artistically under threats and censorship.

Participating curators at the event:

Bonita Bennett, District Six Museum, Cape Town
Kara Blackmore, Borderlands Art, Kampala
Khaled Barakeh, Studio Khaled Barakeh, Berlin
Sofía Carrillo Herrerías, Centro Cultural Universitario Tlatelolco, Mexico City
Process manager/zinemaker: Gloria Kiconco, Kampala
Fredrik Elg, operations manager at the independent organization SH|FT, which has initiated the project.
