LuKaS interpret Franz Schubert

Free admission for students, young people under 25 as well as employees at Lund University.


Lunds kammarsolister (Lund's Chamber Soloists) interpret Franz Schubert's manuscripts taken from Otto Taussig's unique Schubert collection from Lund University Library. In addition, one of his last works, String Quintet in C major, is performed.

Lunds Kammarsolister want to create meeting places for chamber music where quality and tradition meet innovation. For their debut album Britten: Les Illuminations & Debussy: Ariettes Oubliées & Clair de Lune, Lunds Kammrsolister together with soprano Sofie Asplund are nominated for a Grammy in the category Classic of the Year 2022.

The concert is part of the LUND INDIE CHAMBER FESTIVAL and is given in collaboration with Lund University Library, the LMK Foundation, the Sparbanksstiftelsen Finn and Skissernas Museum.
