RENDERED VOICE _day of experimental vocal music_ returns for its second edition, a day of concerts and performances interrogating and expanding the concept of vocal music.

17.45 – “Second Breath” ending ceremony by Myra-Ida van der Veen & Ensemble
ARTISTS:
Extended vocal legend Sofia Jernberg will present a solo performance
Myra-Ida van der Veen will present her project ”Second Breath”, equipping an ensemble of singers with ”external lungs” that modify and extend their voices.
Stephanie Pan will hold an open workshop systematically exploring every facet of the voice.
Countertenor and electronic composer Nik Rawlings will present their multimedia collaboration with visual artist Ghada Eissa called ”I was in the tide, the tide was in me”.
Diane Mahín will present her performance ”GRUNT”, where we meet a woman who can only communicate through growls.
Finally, we will have works presented by students at Malmö Art Academy.
