X-Lab 3D Printing Workshop
Admission fee to the museum.
Free admission for students, young people under 25 as well as employees at Lund University.
X-Lab are hosting a workshop consisting of a brief introduction and start-up guide for the wonderful world of 3D-printing.
The knowledgeable staff from X-Lab will show you how you use the 3d printers in X-Lab and the process of preparing a 3D model on your computer to be able to print it out. If there is time you will also be able to start your own prints during the workshop session to be collected later. There are some preparations that are helpful for X-lab if you do, but if you are not able to do them they will help you during workshop!
What to bring (if you are able):
– A laptop (preferably) or a USB stick with a 3d model on it (preferably STL format)
To do before you attend the workshop (not obligatory):
– Download the free program PrusaSlicer, link: https://www.prusa3d.com/page/prusaslicer_424/
– Have a look at

and see if there is a model you would like to print out,
OR: if you have made your own 3d model, make sure it is able to be exported in STL format and bring it with you!
