Visiting: Sketching for a Public Art Project

Skissernas Museum – Museum of Artistic Processes and Public Art invites the Malmö Art Academy to present sketches made by students who participated in the course ‘Sketching for a Public Art Project’. The course was arranged in collaboration with Konstnärscentrum Syd and borrowed its structure from an open call initiated by Konstnärscentrum Syd in 2020. After a week of introduction with lectures and seminars, the students were asked to sketch a proposal for a public art project. The projects can be entirely self-initiated or based on curatorial programs from previous competitions for public art.
