She is the new museum director

Museichef Annie Lindberg

Annie Lindberg is the new director of Skissernas Museum. However, she is not new to the job. After three years as the acting museum director, she is ready to start working from day one.

“I look forward to continuing to develop Skissernas Museum with emphasis on our unique focus on the creative process and public art. Together with the museum’s fantastic staff, I want to work towards making Skissernas Museum an open and inclusive place for everyone, a creative environment where both visitors and artists are actively involved. I also aim to strengthen the museum’s identity as a university museum and establish closer ties with research and education,” says Annie Lindberg.

Annie Lindberg will assume her position on October 1st and is appointed for a period of six years. She succeeds Patrick Amsellem, who served as museum director from 2011 to 2020. Lindberg has previously worked as a project manager for the museum’s long-term research infrastructure project and served as a curator for Lund University’s art collection. Annie Lindberg is an art historian and archivist with a background in art education.
