Skissernas Museum  Museum of Artistic Process and Public Art is a unique learning environment with an art collection providing both inspiration and knowledge.

Family Sundays

Every other Sunday, our Creative Workshop is open to children and their grown-ups. Drawing inspiration from works in our collection and current exhibitions, we explore a range of creative techniques and materials together.

Before the workshop begins, you can join a guided family tour. Exploring different themes, we set off on an exciting journey through the galleries, gathering ideas and inspiration for our own creative projects in the workshop afterwards.

Schools

We offer a broad and fun school program for groups from pre-school to upper secondary/high school. The programs are permeated by the museum’s specialisation in public art and the creative process. The pupils get an opportunity to express thoughts, observations and feelings through dialogues about art and through their own creative process. We use art as a starting point to provide perspective on our time and on history.

The school programs can be run within the framework of Creative Schools (Skapande skola). If you wish to collaborate on a particular project, please do not hesitate to contact us.

For bookings and questions, please contact the museum’s art educators.

School classes are also welcome to visit the museum by themselves or by booking a school tour. To book a school tour, please contact the museum reception at info@skissernasmuseum.lu.se or +46 (0)46 222 27 83.
