Isaac Grünewald and Vera Nilsson

In connection with the on-going Infrastructure Project, sketches of Isaac Grünewald (1889 – 1946) and Vera Nilsson (1888 – 1979) have been retrieved from the storage to be displayed during the summer.

Per Wizén: Work in Process

At first glance Per Wizén’s works appear to be paintings or photographs of paintings, although his creations are much more intricate than the first encounter suggests.

Stan VanDerBeek (1927–1984) is legendary in the history of experimental film. He was one of the first to explore the artistic possibilities offered by new technology in the 1950s and 60s.

Sweden in the UN – Art and Dialogue in the Global Sphere

During this year, the inauguration of the textile work Dialogos took place, in one of the most renowned rooms of the United Nations: The Sven Markelius ECOSOC room.

Species of Space

Sep Kamvar – Boundaries

Since its founding in 1934, the focus of Skissernas Museum|Museum of Public Art has been the artistic process and art in the public realm. With Sep Kamvar’s exhibition Boundaries the Museum explores the expanded notion of the public realm in our time and how a definition of public space should encompass also virtual space.
